The American Heritage pool table is by far the worst table on the market. I’m a pool table services tech. I work with thousands of tables a year. No other table presents as many problems consistently than American Heritage. The 2 main problems are the non-backed slate and the rail cushion rubber. Convertible poker tables generally feature folding tops that do double duty by converting into a normal table for regular card games. We carry everything poker related, so you can find a Texas hold em poker table for a group of five or hexagonal poker tables for larger groups. Round poker tables are a perfect fit for the small home games room. Invite friends and family over for game night with this 54' Heritage 3 in 1 Game Table. This combo converts easily from a dining table, to an eight player poker table with the flip of the top. Remove the top to reveal the bumper pool option. This means you can’t just buy one of their pool tables, you have to get the accompanying furniture like chairs, stools and racks. I happen to think this is pretty dumb, as most people I know put their pool tables in a room that won’t hold much more than just the table. The slate sits on a slate pad that runs the length and width of the table with an over-hang of 4-6 inches. The slate screws into the pad, not the frame. This means you can’t level the slates as you would on a better quality table.
Next, the cushion rubber is the poorest quality rubber I’ve seen. It will dry-rot and become hard and brittle within a year.Stay Away! These aren’t the only issues with American Heritage.Review posted by Rick
